Last night was super fun, and it needs to happen more often. Lisa and I have made Saturday night official Olive Garden-breadsticks-soup-and-salad night. And we're going to ask for our awesome waitress with the cool hair and it will be awesome. "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" rose above any chessy horror flick expectations that I had for it. Honestly, it made me think about a whole lot of things concerning my spirituality, and made me decide that starting next Sunday, I'm going to start attending the evening mass at a Southern Baptist Church. I will sing, I will dance, and I will try to believe in something, because it seems that maybe there is something to it. I know that seems utterly random, but I think that those people have a very positive view of whatver is up there, and I admire that. It a world full of cynicism, they are still able to smile and say that God is beautiful. It would be wrong to suddenly just adopt beliefs that I haven't thought about since I was 7, but I don't think there is anything wrong with giving it another chance. I had onebad experience with church when I was a little girl, and then my family stopped going. My mom made that decision for me, so now I'm making the decision to take another look.

I have a date on Tuesday. I haven't had one of those in months. I'd be lying if I said that I'm not a little nervous. I hate dating because there are so many games that people insist on playing. I hope this guy doesn't do that, and I hope that like him, because I hate being honest about it when I don't.

Hey, if you want, you can come check out my church. It's very warm and inviting, but they don't beat around the bush with touchy issues either. There is a pretty significant group of young adults, so there are plenty of people who are easy to relate to. The Adult Bible Fellowship (a.k.a. Sunday School) is at 9, and the contemporary worship service starts at 10:45.
